Top Mistakes of Stewards

  1. Lack of faithfulness. 1 Corinthians 4:2 Amp
  • Be faithful it is the first duty of stewards. Matthew 25:21
  • To be loyal is to be dependable, reliable, faithful, Peter denying Jesus, Judas betraying Jesus.
  • Be Faithful in little, be faithful in money, be faithful in what is another mans. This lady can be another mans wife.
  • Replace Unfaithfulness with faithfulness and loyalty. Proverbs 20:6

  1. Developing Ownership Mentality Luke 12:20
  • With ownership is possession. You begin to possess God’s property like it’s yours. Matthew 10:8
  • Always remember you are a servant and don’t withhold more than is due Matthew 21:37-40
  • You will end in shame with that mindset. Daniel 4:30-35
  • Replace Ownership mentality with stewardship mentality Luke 17:10
  1. Poor Management Matthew 7:12
  • Have a golden mindset. Value adding mindset. Manage what belongs to others the way you would want them to manage what belongs to you.
  • Add value to things and places ✅Add value to people ✅ Add value to yourself. Acts 4:13
  • Luke 16:12 be a good manager of what is little, another mans, when no one is seeing you.
  1. Not Obeying All instructions Colossians 3:22-25
  • Have a good attitude to your leaders. Titus 2:9-10
  • Adam was a bad steward...
  • Replace Disobedience by joyful obedience

  • Matthew 8:21-22MSG  Jesus does not listen to excuses.
  • Common excuses (I’m too young, Jeremiah 1:5)
  • Replace excuses with I can do all things mentality.
  1. Envy and Comparison 1 Corinthians 4:7, 2 Corinthians 10:12
  • Learn to focus on your job. Stick to your lane. John 21:20-22
  • Don’t compare yourself be productive. Matthew 20:10 NLT
  • Replace Comparison by being the best that God created you to be Galatians 2:8

You are the righteousness of God

The idea of the new creation having a sin-nature is mostly common amongst Christians who look at it from the standpoint of “I was once a sinner, but now I’m saved.” But the new creation isn’t the man that was in sin and in the darkness; that man actually died with Christ.
